Seeking strong Project Manager (preferably PMP Certified) to manage Internet Protocol TV, Consumer Voice over Internet Protocol and High Speed Internet access projects. The candidate will work on projects in one or more of the following security initiatives: Fundamental Security, IP Security, Service Specific Security and Futuristic Security.
This is a 3-month contract position, with potential for extension at the end of the contract.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Manage multiple projects within a dynamic and changing lab environment
- Manage lab processes such as configuration management; resource management and contention
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 years experience working with complex lab environments
- Capability and back ground in technical writing is required
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments
- System analysis and design expertise is required
- Project Management skills are required, in particular for managing the most technical aspects of projects
- Strong experience with IP networks, OSs (Windows and Unix), security tools
- Experience in the field of information security performing system and engineering functions
- Proficiency with communications protocols, data and network security (firewalls, IDS, IPS)
- B.S. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or a related field
